Hearo is a local mixing-reference comparison tool for macOS and iOS. We designed it to keep your work on your device. This policy explains what that means.
None. Hearo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs.
The audio packages (.hearo files) you import or create, your annotations, and any passwords you set are processed and stored entirely on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. Encrypted packages are decrypted locally; the source audio never leaves the package.
The macOS “Hearo Editor” unlock is a one‑time In‑App Purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and your payment information under Apple’s Privacy Policy; Hearo never sees your payment details and only checks whether the purchase is active on your Apple Account.
Hearo contacts Apple’s App Store only to verify or restore the Editor purchase. It makes no other network requests.
Hearo is a professional audio tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
